Mr Bramston - 99 years was distinctly laid down by Kimberley [See minutes on 193. 11638.73] but the Governor having recommended the normal time, which was 999 years, it was apparently thought that a mistake had been made here.

I think as the lease of the bay lane well says that the records show that 99 years was deliberately fixed by Lord Kimberley, I should not have been given but as it is that it happens to be the old one.
